Dr. Holly McNew

I graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in psychology from Arizona State University. I decided that my passion was to pursue not only the study of the mind but the full medical and biological aspects of our health.

I decided to pursue medical school and attended American University of the Caribbean. I had the privilege of living on the island of St. Maarten while working on my medical sciences and working at the local hospital there. My last 2 years of medical school were completing my clinical years in Louisiana, California and New York. I attended psychiatry residency training at Creighton University where I received unique experience working with combat veterans at the VA, neuropsychiatric clinics working specifically with people with Huntington’s disease, extensive experience in emergency psychiatry, and other various specialty outpatient clinics.

I am currently board certified in Psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. My passion is working in the inpatient acute care setting and specifically in rural settings. I love seeing the progress that is made in one’s life, from the first day they are admitted to the day of discharge.
