Letitia Coleman

Letitia is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received a Masters of Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner from Sacred Heart University and her Post-Master’s Certificate PMHNP at Johns Hopkins University.

Letitia was born and raised in Connecticut and is well known amongst her colleagues and friends for baking and sharing cookies, muffins and cakes. She is married with 2 sons and outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, weight training, reading mystery novels and personal growth books, and sitting on the beach on a sunny day.

“I was drawn to psychiatry while practicing in both women’s health and pediatrics. I quickly recognized in my practice that mental health touches every specialty. I noticed the growing need for mental healthcare providers, especially in special populations, and felt a strong call to help answer this need. I have had the pleasure of working at Yale in the department of psychiatry for the last 6 years and have worked in various aspects of the psychiatric service line while there. This has allowed me to sharpen my skills in working and caring for mental health patients.”
